I'm starting to get some more things for my DS who will be 4 in August. I have also been thinking of toys that work well for long plane rides, as we are leaving in 2 months on one. I thought maybe the lacing cards would be a good idea, but I'm not sure if he would get bored with it?

Anyone have experience with these?

I bought lacing cards for my ds who never played with them, even with me. My dd has found them and loves them. You could always make one out of card stock and a hole puncher to see if he shows any intrest before you buy them.

We have lacing cards & my 2 yo just started playing with them. She doesn't quite have the hand skills yet but enjoys them and I'm sure will like them more when she's a little older.

My three year old likes lacing cards well enough. It's a pretty good travel activity. I like Jessica's idea a lot. My parents made lacing cards for me when I was little and I remember liking them.
