I asked my dad if he would build Lauren a wooden kitchen for Christmas and he said yes! He has done extensive woodworking- built toys for us when we were kids and built the house we grew up in. I need ideas to give him! He can either work from a plan or a picture (as long as I give him dimensions). Can you guys give me some websites or pictures of wooden kitchens you like? Or, if this has been discussed to death, can you give me the archived link?

Thanks!

That's the best

I'm nak trying to get ds down for a nap or I'd double check these (not sure of the websites but these are a lot of the names of kitchens)

Toysfromthebarn.com
Elvesandangels.com (may have to look at Nova Natural's site now to see them)

heirloomwoodentoys.com

there are lots more but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. There was a thread entitled "comprehensive kitchen thread" from before Christmas of 2004 I believe. If you search the archives for all of those words it should come up. It was a FABULOUS thread :) Lots of pictures for you.

There was someone here that had a family member build a kitchen that was TO DIE FOR!! It was so incredible and they shared pics. I'll try doing a search. If i remember right it was vikivoly that posted about it.

Here is one of the plans I found. The hutch from this plan is really close in size to the darling Land of Nod stove/sink. My dad is going to modify the hutch for DD's kitchen and make the fridge

Here is the other plan I found- http://how-to-plans.com/kiddy_kitchen_plans.html

It isn't what you are looking for but I thought I'd share it anyhow because it is pretty cute. http://familyfun.go.com/decorating-ideas/decorating/feature/famf0902_proj_kitch/

There was a post a bit ago showing the beautiful "Land of Nod" kitchen that another talented grandfather made, so I have to be honest and mention that my desire for that kitchen and finding a similar plan came from that post. HTH

Here's the thread where everyone linked to every wooden kitchen they could find. If it was on the internet, these moms found it!
