I've thought about this before (and even posted about it before), but this time I am really going to do it. I'm going to get DS a firehouse for his 3rd birthday. (Especially because he says he wants a firetruck theme, it should be perfect).

I have 3 options that I'm considering. If you have experience with any of them, please chime in. General pros/cons that you can see even if you don't own them would be appreciated too. The only one I've seen IRL is the Ryan's Room one, so I need some additional info. TIA

#2 Stay and Play Firehouse from Constructive Playthings

#3 Ryan's Room Firehouse (would also buy fire truck and firefighters)

Sorry, no input on your ideas, but Family Fun has easy directions to make a Fire Engine cake on their website. I did it a week ago for Jude. You can do it!

Wow, those are too cool. Have nothing to contribute as to seeing them IRL but that Ryans room one is too cute.

You should email Lori (momof3labs) and see if she has checked them out since her DH is a firefighter.

He will love any of them I am sure!!!!!

Do they have the Ryan's Room at Learning Express? I think that I've seen it somewhere. I can check out this little toy store we have here. It seems to me that I saw a firestation there a few months ago. Can't remember which one it was. I'll let you know what I find.

Sorry, another person with no experience. I personally like the look of the last one, it seems to have the most free room to get your hands in there. The figures look neat as well, they seem more lifelike than figures from choice #1.

It's hard to tell what the second one is really like from picture, but it sure comes with a lot of accessories!

I do like the top one as well. To me it looks the sturdiest, I'm not sure why but that's what I'm seeing!

I agree with the PP, that it looks like you can't go wrong. It looks like a wonderful gift, I know my nephew would love one.

BTW, I'm so impressed when people can buy their birthday gift so far in advance! I only decided (finally!) on my nephews under a month ago and his birthday is this Saturday!
