View Full Version : Question about Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water table

Sorry if this has been posted before--I didn't see an answer in old threads but might have missed it.

Is the bridge (or whatever it is) in the water side removeable? It looks like it dominates the water side and I think it would get in DS's way until he's old enough to do more pretend play with it.

The two darker brown bridge pieces are removable, but the tan one (that matches the color of the unit) is not removable. What we did last summer is also fill the sand side with water so Sarah would have more room to splash around. That worked well, though she also enjoyed playing with the boats, etc. on the bridge side.

Thanks - that certainly answers my questions, but what a drag! I'd like to do both sand and water, but really don't want to work around the tan bridge. Will have to mull this over. :)

We have the Battat table and it has one big open section for sand and one for water. So far we have only used water in it though.

I couldn't find ours online, but this one is similar. Ours is yellow and divided diagonally. We got it at Tuesday Morning last year for $15.99
