I was browsing kids books on Amazon, and I was surprised to see some of my favorite books as a child are either reissued or still in print. I'm looking to see if anyone has recommendations for books they enjoyed as a child that are still available.

Thanks in advance!

Harry the Dirty Dog
Francis books (Bread and Jam for Francis)
There is a Monster at the end of this book- found at a garage sale, a grover book
Curious George books

I loved the Golden Books, and have found that a few have resurfaced.

The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf
Ping by Marjorie Flack
The Story of Babar by Jean De Brunoff (there a newer "knock-offs" but the orginals are from the '30s)
Frog and Toad (there are lots of them) by Arnold Lobel
Where the Wild Things Are
The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats
Stone Soup by Marcia Brown

Wow, that takes me back. I'm going to have to raid my mom's attic now!

Oh, geez, this is taking me back....

I had a copy of Home for a Bunny that had to be taped up a lot because I read it so much. :)

The Monster at the End of this Book was another favorite, and also Blueberries for Sal.

I loved the Soup series by Robert Newton Peck, also Judy Blume books!
Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes was sad but a good message!
How could I forget the Little House on the Prarie series and Make Way for Ducklings!
