Also...Awhile back someone mentioned they had one for sale...I can't find the post...if you get this...I may be interested...it has taken me this long to think about it again!
Thank you!

I do not have the Sony Monitor, but I have been looking at the Evenflo Wisper. They have a couple varieties. I cannot give you a review since I have not puchased one yet, but I think that the BB book recommends them.

I have the Sony 49 MHZ monitor and got it at BRU for $59. They periodically have $5 off baby monitors in their flyers.
I really do like this monitor. THe reception is great and it has the voice-activated choice as well, so you do not have to listen to static sounds.

We have the Fisher Price Sounds & Lights with dual receivers. I haven't had any problems with it at all and I like that I can keep one receiver upstairs and one downstairs. Also, it's very reasonably priced ($30 last summer). You can always try it and if you don't like it, exchange it for the Sony.
HTH!

We have the 27 channel Sony, and we got it at BRU when it was on sale or coupon. They run out of it often but will do rainchecks; that's how we got ours.
We have so much electronics gear in this house, wireless network, etc. and it works really well for us!
