We bathed our baby in a sink when traveling. One of us was holding her, another washing.

Walmart sells an inflatable duck bath that works great

When I went on a trip we deflated our Kids II (I think it is called this) tub and then reinflated at the hotel. It was easy to pack and did not weigh a lot. This type of tub works best when a child can sit. If your child cannot sit then I would take a bath with them.

We had a Sassy inflatable tub we got at Target. Just traveled with it deflated and blew it up in the hotel. It worked great. I've also see them at Marshalls or TJ Maxx sometimes for a bit less $$.

We just travelled with our 4 mth old DS this past weekend and we used the inflatable ducky tub. I found this at Target for ~$12. I liked it as much or even more than the infant-to-toddler tub we have at home. He was able to lay down with head supported on the outer inflatable ring and he enjoyed his bath just as much as he does when we are at home.

2 years ago we received a Munchkin inflatable tub liner from Target that was PRICELESS. I liked it better than our normal tub for the little little ones. You fill part with water to keep them warm and part with air to provide support. I still have it for #2, and will use it until the baby no longer needs as much neck support. I think it was like $5-8. I just laid it in the tub and put water around it. Jude never complained about it : )

Love the munchkin inflatable duck tub - better than the bath seat we had prior to it
