Have you painted your own kids' table and chairs?

I have the unfinished table and chair set from Ikea that has been languishing for months unpainted. I'm seeking insipiration! If anyone has pictures of your set that you (or someone else) has finished, please post! Or if this has been done before on these boards, get me to the link, I couldn't find any in search.

I'd also love to hear of any websites that might have good ideas.

i don't have a picture available right this second, but we bought the spray chalk paint for the table top and decopaged(sp??) the seats (we have round stools). i used paper dolls and painted my kids names under it then decopage on top. i was going to decopage the paper dolls around in a circle on the table top holding hands(the table is round), but i thought the chalkboard would be fun.
