i don't have this but have seen it in the store and we do have the Playskool kitchen set. It seems like fun andi like that it talks to you:

We don't have this yet but are getting it for DD for her birthday next month. It got the best reviews & seems pretty good.

We have the this Hoover one:

Ds (23 months old) got it for Christmas and it was a huge hit. He used this daily. I have a Hoover windtunnel, so his looks just like a small version of mommy's. But - the plastic case that houses the attachments breaks off in no time. Doesn't seem to have bothered my son a bit as he never really played with the attachments anyway.

OK, this might sound a bit off-the-wall, but it's working for DS!

We got him a lawnmower from the So Hot, Stay Cool (or whatever it's called) section at Target. That stuff's been on clearance, and I think it only started out at $10.

It started out as an outside toy, but as soon as it came indoors, it became a vacuum according to DS! The noise it makes when you push it isn't all that different from the noise our Dyson makes, so that might have something to do with it!

It's not a fancy toy, and it doesn't do anything other than get pushed, make a quiet "rushing" sort of noise when pushed, and flash a little red light in the top part. But, for the $6 or whatever we paid for it, it was definitely worth it! (And it's a hoot watching him "vacuum" the play room with it!)

Along the same lines, when Sydney imitates us vacuuming, she just gets her old fashioned corn popper out and pushes it like a vacuum.

Kayla uses my actual Hoover floor sweeper when I vacuum. Heck, she can actually pick stuff up with it, so everyone is happy! :)
