I have searched and searched and been unable to find a tub faucet guard/protector that has a hole at the top for the shower knob. The only ones I found that might work are terry cloth and then I worry about the moisture and mold.

Has anyone seen faucet guards with an opening at the top? PLEASE help me! I am desperate!

Thanks in advance!

I just bought one at BRU last week. It is inflatable and was $2.99. I *think* it was Safety 1st brand. There is an insert on the top that you just remove if you have a knob on the faucet for your shower.

ETA: I looked for the one I bought, but couldn't find it. Here is one, though:

I just bought the regular Duck one from Target and cut the top off (the duck's bath cap). I know, it looks ghetto but it works! Kael likes to play Ducky's "hat" while he bathes.

I have one from a specialty babyproofing store. It cost $10 and made out of a foam type material that is not supposed to mold. They sales rep told me the inflatable kind do not work that well.

So far I really like it. Its white foam with a simple drawing of a bear in the front.

I happen to have their business card b/c I'm thinking of ordering a gate from them. I just moved to NC and cant find the one I want.

The store is based in Miami. Safer Kids and Homes. www.saferkidsandhomes.com [email protected] 305*854-kids

They may also be able to refer you to a babyproofing store in your area.

We have an inflatable one from BRU. It has a star on the end and has a slot on the top for the shower pull.

That looks great! I may just go ahead and order one.

I had the inflatable kind, but it's sprung a leak after 4 1/2 years and won't stay inflated. I have been unable to find any more, even online. I think they stopped making them.

So, I think I'll give this a try. Thanks again for the info!
