My 1 year old really likes to throw himself on the dog beds and roll around and get fur all over himself, so i was thinking of getting him his own floor pillow. Not that i think it will be easy to get the dog to use hers and Max to use his, but i'm going to give it a try! :)

i think i saw them at pottery barn, but was hoing to find a cheaper one. Anyone seen them anywhere?

I saw some at Target. Also Pier One always seems to have things like that.

eta: Bed Bath and Beyong perhaps?
I think they may be seasonal -- check the summer and back-to-college areas.

Another idea-- you could get a cushion for a papasan chair. It would certainly be less than $150!

Joann's Fabric stores have them. They're about 24 inches square, come in a variety of fabrics and are $10. :D

I've gotten some at Christmas Tree Shop for $15. They were a great addition for the playroom.

Ikea usually has them, but if you want the best quality and most washability, I'd buy another dog bed! (In a different color. Maybe even a different style.)

I have a friend that actually makes them and you can choose your fabric. I think she charges about $35. She also makes nap mats. I am attaching a pic of my donut pillow as she calls them. If you want one email me.
My friend has a 6 week old so I am not sure how fast she can get one out.

This floor pillow is only $25 - is it too small?

I have two big floppy square floor pillows that I keep in front of my fireplace because we have a tile hearth. Our daughter LOVES flopping on them and reading her books on them--they're from Ikea.

I've been seeing floor pillows a LOT lately at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. I haven't looked at the price, but knowing the Teej, it must be cheap!

We got a big round one like the Company Store "Loungearound" from Overstock.com a few holidays ago. It was about $40. HTH http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?page=proframe&prod_id=61816
ETA: They still have them. Shipping is $1 and there are frequently deals on this site. I get emails just about daily.
It looks like through today there is 10% savings on your order.

We bought a great big dog bed at a garage sale for a buck. Dog hates it but Rylee loves it and the cover zips off for cleaning.

You can sew your own with two pieces of fabric and stuffing. It'll cost you less then $10. You might even get your son to pick out the fabric he likes. I made a couple of floor pillows using old curtains.

Have fun!

It took me less than an hour to make a really large pillow. The pillow cost me $2.50. I bought 1 yard of bob the builder fabric at Walmart. I had 4 old bed pillows that were really flat, laying around so I took the stuffing out of those and used all of them to stuff the big pillow I made. I pulled the stuffing apart as I took it out of the the old pillows. It was one of the best things I made for my 2 year old. He lays on it all the time.
