What do you recommend for a little girls first doll to play with?

My dd got a doll she is 15months but this is a doll that is a collectable and has to be kept up and is being stored at my mom's house for now. I want my dd to have a doll she can play with. What do you recommend?

At your daughter's age, I got my DD a Corolle Calin and it was/is perfect for her size, etc.
