9 month old only likes the restaurant high chair? Is it wrong for me to buy one?

I think he's bothered by the five point harness. He hates all three of his strollers and our Healthy Care High Chair. When I'm shopping he's only happy in a grocery shopping cart and when we eat and we want him to sit still he seems the most content in the little wooden restaurant high chair. Would it be unsafe for me to buy one of those and use it at home while DH and I sit at the table to eat with him?

IKEA has some cute restauranteque chairs. You can try one out in the IKEA cafeteria - they actually sell the chairs that they have there. Very similar to your standard variety.

I think you should buy whatever you can find that your son will sit in long enough to feed him. Can you convert his current chair to a three point harness? We just did that with DD's chair.
