View Full Version : Has anyone made their own board book?

I've seen the directions on many blogs these days and it doesn't look too hard. Looks fun actually.

So has anyone attempted making one? Advice at all? I'm in a creative mood and have an upcoming baby shower in October, so I could get it done in time.

Why kind of blogs do you read that have ideas like that?

http://daddytypes.com/ is where I first saw it. Then I did a search to see if I could find more info and the board book address came up through a few other blogs (that I've never read.) The board book link was really past around July 28th!

It looks pretty hard to me. I'd never get everything adhered flat and straight. It also looks pretty pricy, given what full-sheet labels cost (and then you have to laminate, them, too).
On the whole, I put it into that "Martha Stewart" category; I admire it, but I have enough
self-knowledge to know that I am never going to be willing and able to do it. We'll stick to things like making "books" by putting pages in photo albums, I think.
