View Full Version : Storage for art paper?

I have a ream of kids' art paper in the standard size 12x18. However, apparently no one else seems to know it's the standard size because I'm having a terrible time finding a way to store it - I'd love to know if anyone has found either boxes or shelving that fits that size. Even the PBK "art boxes" only come in 12x26 which is way too long on one side and only just fitting on the other - I'm not even sure if the 12" side would fit in the box. Any thoughts or suggestions?
TIA!

What about this?

http://www.adorama.com/FSBP1319.html

www.dickblick.com (very big art supply store) also has some paper storage boxes, but the closest size is 16 x 20 (http://www.dickblick.com/zz153/03/) so that's probably too much room.

In addition to art supply stores, you could also try scrapbooking stores/websites, archival product websites (there are some that have boxes similar to the adorama one in about every size you could imagine), or other photography websites for print storage that might work.

Good luck!

ETA: Here is one archival site I was thinking of: http://nt.bnt.com/talas/menu.html?category=178 Scroll down to "conservation boxes" and they have 18x12 boxes in varying depths.

This site http://www.genealogicalstorageproducts.com/dropfronboxw.html also has a ton of boxes under "archival boxes" but this link will bring you to some drop-front lidded boxes.
