best swim trainer/life vest for 2 year old?

Any great products? We occaisionally go in a friend's pool and use one of their swim vests on our 2 year old (while still holding him, of course). But it seems that it wants to turn him on his tummy (and face in the water). Any great ideas for good swim products?

We purchased this for our then 18 mo old DD after other floats tilted her forward, too! She is now 21 months and loves this- she kicks up and down the pool without help.

Hi --

When DS was about 18 months we bought an Ironman flotation swimsuit. He loves it! I love it because it is so much easier to swim with him in this than tryingto hold on to him so tightly. He likes to hold our hands and float "on his own." This is a wonderful addition to our swim bag. email me if you need more info
