Okay, so the Ryan's Mambo tunnel that we got from TJ Maxx and the thread about the $25 set at Costco makes me think it might be worth going to Costco with a friend of mine (assuming ours carries it) to pick it up. However, I'm trying to maximize the use of toys that we use in our house and a neighbor showed me this set:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000206G9/qid=1125472637/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-6664891-3596806?v=glance&s=toys&n=507846

Which is on a 50% off sale from Amazon. Shipping is $16.74, though. DH and I are pretty sure DD would enjoy this one more, because of the balls (she really likes balls) and because she could have fun with the net (she liked the one at our local playground). Plus DH likes that this one has a turn in the tunnels, making it more interesting, he thinks. Does anyone have this set? What do you think of it?

I don't have it but I see that exact set at Ross all the time.

They also have a Playhut school bus and fire engine tent at Ross right now. They don't come with balls but you can get a huge box of ball from TRU for about $20. Oh and the Playhuts were about 14.99 if I recall.

Hmm...I'll have to take a look at Ross, and I guess I should also check out Marshalls and TRU.

Thanks Angie!

The only part I don't like about that set is that the tunnels are so small. I've seen them IRL and they're only about 2 feet long! The thing I like about the Costco set is I can just put out the tunnel (which is 6 feet long), a tent, or the whole set, while with the above set you definately can't just set up a tunnel. We take our tunnel outside all the time, but not the tents since we already have a playhouse in our backyard. But if you plan on having it set up permanently in a playroom then you probably won't have a need to take it apart.

Thanks Latia! I shared your comment with DH and he decided short tunnels were okay, especially because we already have a Ryan's tunnel. Plus, we want to be able to set it up in our living room, which would be difficult if the tunnels were longer. I'm going to take a look at Marshall's or Ross to see if I can see a similar set before buying from Amazon.
