Any favorite book(s) on the seasons for a 2 year old? I'm thinking paper rather than board, and would go for either one or four books. I saw some on fall at the bookstore today, but thought I'd come here for recommendations before buying. (If it helps with recommendations, he will listen to things as long as Curious George books, but not much longer.)
Thanks!

The only one I have is a board and is a little too old for Kaya still (she's 18 months), but I think is kind of nice. It's by Scholastic and is called "The Four Seasons". It shows a cherry tree (and the creatures that live in it, and the farmland that the tree is on) go through the 4 seasons and then back to winter. It's pretty nice and has birds in it, which are of course, one of Kaya's favorite animals.

This isn't really specific to "seasons" per se but DS enjoys it at 18 months and it is a regular book.

It is cute and I like that it is a female farmer, and it talks about her selling her apples at the farmer's market (we take DS just about weekly to the farmer's market). It also has some apple based recipes in the back which could be a fun activity.

Someone here recommended this site for books in the past and we all traded ideas on what books to buy. One of the mamas mentioned this book and so we bought it. I think it is very cute :) Their prices are good too.

I'm not sure if that is seasonal enough but in my mind fall=apples so I thought I'd mention it just in case.

ETA: I will say the descriptions of books on the bookcloseouts.com website are kind of lacking so I sort of cross check them at amazon.com to get a better idea of the content.

Also I saw these:
