I'm looking for some large blocks to use for my ten month old DS. All of the sets I've seen at the store have small pieces that could be choking hazards. Does anyone sell very large blocks for children? We're currently stacking plastic cups into towers for him and as much as he enjoys this I think that blocks would be more fun ;-) Thank you in advance.

Well, these are the ones that we got for Kaya and she really seems to enjoy them, even if it's just stacking a few of them in uneven stacks. She likes to say, "uh oh" whenever she knocks them over. She also likes to grab two of them and bang them together. I got two sets (seconds) and while they're overkill for now and they certainly would be for a 10 month old, she'll be able to play with these for a long time.

We have some cardboard ones that are big and quite sturdy (DS can step on them at 30+ lbs). Also, they don't hurt when the kid chucks them at you. I think I found ours at Sensational Beginnings.
