I went to a local baby and kid stuff swap meet this morning. I found a woman selling the modern house (http://www.kidsurplus.com/pmo3965.html)
for $5. Yes, FIVE DOLLARS!!! New. Her kids had opened the box, and a few pieces were missing (basketball and the hoop, the dog, one of the kids, and two fence railings) but it was otherwise in the original packaging and unmolested.
She had no idea what the sucker was worth, and I didn't try and educate her. :) I am now the happy owner of the modern house. If dd is very nice, I may let her play with it too. Kidding! She and I are both thrilled.
She's too young for the itsy bitsy pieces, so the flowers and a few other things are staying bagged up until she's older.
