DS (4 mo.) nails are so long and the nail clippers that came in two of his kits do not even clip my nails. Any suggestions on a good pair of baby nail clipper?
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I think the pair we have are made by The First Years. They're mint green and we got them at Target, probably. They come with a magnifying attachment, but we took that off. We've been using the same pair for over two years and they still work well.

We have the same one and it doesn't clip worth anything! I wonder if we got a defective one? The one that has worked since Kaya was a newborn is also a First Years one, but it's white and it came with the First Aid type kit. That's worked extremely well. With the green one, when we push down, it sort of makes a dent in her nails but doesn't cut it. :( We also have a pair of butterfly nail clippers I got from LilBunz and they don't work at all on her nails. So the butterfly has become her toy. :)

Actually we have one pair that we got for our 1st (in a set)over 4 years ago and they are still good and sharp! We got a 2nd pair for the diaper bag when #2 came along. Love them... they work perfectly everytime!

We have one by safety first (with magnifying attachment that I dont use) and $1 pair from Gerber (found at Walgreens). Both work fine...they are actually sharper than my adult clippers. I keep the Gerber ones in the diaper bag.

We have the magnify ones too and they don't work very well for us either. I rec'd a pair of the white Safety 1st ones in a kit at my baby shower and they've worked great. I bought a second Safety 1st clipper so I could have one downstairs and one upstairs.

Thanks a lot for the input!! I got a pair of the Safety 1st clippers without the magnifying glass and they worked great!!!!! What a relief :)
