Woodland Fantasies Deluxe Nativity

I just received a catalog for www.sb-kids.com and they have the Woodland fantasies Deluxe Nativity set for $35.95. I know a lot of us were searching for these sets like mad not too long ago, and I was able to get several different woodland fantasy sets. I thought some of you may still be needing the Nativity (and it IS coming up on Christmas). These are wonderful wooden pieces that are handpainted and come in a keepsake box. It is pretty heavy.

One Step Ahead also has it for $39.95. Actually, I bought it from OSA last spring when it was on clearance for $15. Came out to be around $20 (shipping included) with the 15% off coupon code. Looks like they've raised it back to retail price for the holidays.

but I couldn't find it.
But, I could be searching wrong!

I just typed "Woodland Fantasies" in the search field.
Is that the correct name?

Type "nativity" in the search engine and you should find it. Same thing on the One Step Ahead website.

Thanks for your help!! I tend to get too detailed
in my wording when I do a search and then I have
trouble finding the item.

Now that I have seen it, I want one too!! :)

Maybe I will play the waiting game and buy it in
the spring like you did! You got a great deal!

How did you know it was on sale? From looking through
the catalog or watching the website?
I'll need to put it on my calendar to check back.
Was it right after Christmas?

I actually found out about it when someone posted about it in this forum. It was around the time when everyone here was looking for the sets. This was in February, though I'm not sure when the sale started. HTH.

Okay, from reading previous threads about the
Woodland Fantasies playsets, I thought everything
was discontinued. (One of these threads was way
back in 2004.)

Now I see this thread and the Deluxe Nativity Set
was spotted in the Sensational Beginnings and
One Step Ahead catalogs. How can this be?

So, now I am really confused! Can someone explain
exactly what is going on with Woodland Fantasies?
Are the sets discontinued? Are they still making
them?

I believe they are discontinued. I think some stores still has them in their inventory. I still see Noah's Ark and the Nativity set floating around on the internet.

Someone directed me to this in the Spring and I bought it then and LOVE it! Wish I would have waited for a sale or code, but am still pleased to have paid full shipping and full price. I *needed* this nativity set. : )
