My DS is 9 mo. He has been "army" crawling for a couple of months but isn't pulling up yet. I've read some rave reviews for the Leapfrog Learning Table. Is it worth investing in at this point or should I be considering something else? I would appreciate any recommendations.

I don't think so. It was great for when DS started pulling up, cruising, and even walking. We still have it out (more because we keep forgetting rather than for DS to play with), and he still loves all the music on it.

We bought it around 8 or 9 months and it is still a hit at 12 months. It is so cute and not annoying like so many noisy toys. We paid $39.99 at TRU, but I recently saw it at Costco for $32.99! I think it will be played with for a long time. It has become our new "coffee table" right in the middle of the family room!

We didn't get ours until 12 months and it was a HUGE hit until I finally put it away a few weeks ago (at close to 27 months!). I think DS would still play with it if it were out... Mommy just got tired of it!

My son is 8 months and I am looking for the same thing. I would rather have a wood play table, but I can't find one.

Now, just a suggestion the Leapfrog is available at consignment stores for about $13, not bad.

Not sure how legit this is, but I read that TRU will be selling the table for $19.99 on black friday (day after thanksgiving). Seen it on those black friday websites. If you do a search for "black friday" in the bargains forum, you'll see more deals. The $19.99 price is available only during the early bird times. Again, not sure how legit these postings are... HTH.
