My DS is getting pretty good at naming and identifying colors, so I think he would enjoy some sort of color sorting toy. Does anyone have any to recommend?

When I taught kindergarten, we had a set of little plastic colored bears that the kids sorted into matching color bowls. I'm thinking of something along those lines, unless there is something out there I don't know about! Thanks!

Oompa has some color sorting toys that look cool--no experience with them, but here's the link:

We have a Haba shape sorter that can also be a color sorter as the pieces all go on a wooden peg base. So you can stack all the circles together or stack all the blue pieces together. I didn't see it on Oompa and we bought ours in a brick and mortar store. I'm sure it's available somewhere on line.

we recently bought the giant pegboard and pegs (it's not giant...) and there are 5 colors and 5 shapes for 25 pegs that can be used for numerous activities including color sorting...

the pegboard is down just a bit on this page. my dd (15 mo) loves to stack the pegs (by shape)and carry several around

We have this one from Oompa, and I love it! Larger ones are available too, but I got this one specifically for travel.
