View Full Version : Maxim or Battat treehouse?

I was about to buy a set of Maxim treehouses at Sensational Beginnings (the small one is $39.95, the deluxe one is $69.95, plus the 15% off with the code SANTA), but then I found the Battat tree house, which is much bigger.

Does anybody have personal experience with these treehouses? Would you go for a set of two smaller Maxim ones or the bigger Battat one?

What age did you children started playing with treehouses? I am buying well in advance for DS.

I got the Battat one for dd as it has lots of accessories and got it for $100 from e-bay. It's for christmas so I haven't opened it yet. She's just turned 3, so I'm hoping she'll play with it now. A friend had a Battat dollshouse and it was really nice quality.

Well thanks Elena for making my decision more difficult!! :) LOL Just kidding of course. I was going to buy the treehouse from Sensational Beginnings as well. I didn't see this one from Target. It looks really nice but it's hard not to buy the less expensive one. I'll have to check out ebay-$100 seems like a great deal for the Battat/Target one. There's also the Paypal/ebay coupons out there which would make it even less. I'm off to look on ebay-I'll post to let you know what I find. I also need to compare what accessories come with each. If the Maxim one is cheaper but doesn't come with anything it isn't really such a great deal,KWIM? I'll let you know!

It looks like it's possible to get the battat one cheaper on Ebay. It's not about which set is cheaper for me, I would like to get the one that will get more use.

Do you think that the tall treehouse will have more play value than the set of two shorter connected ones?
