I am at my wits end with my boys. The 2 year old loves trains but both he and his brother keep tearing the train track layouts I put up down. They can even take the sure track apart! So I am glueing a set down for them to have. I will let them play with the tracks and put them together and take them apart too, but I want one set that is all glued together and down. Any advice on what to use for glue? I have tried both elmers wood glue and elmers household cement. Both hold well, and the boys are not able to pull them apart once glued. I am concerned about glueing a bigger set together and about glueing the tracks down onto a plastic coated board (its the playtable cover form the disney store). Any help on how to do this project would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jessica.

Is there something wrong with them taking the layouts apart? Do they try to put them back together?

I'd be hesitant to glue anything down.
