Okay I love this easel....

Does anyone have it? It has the same height as many other easels so I am not sure why the age range is so low...?

Also, it doesn't have a dowel...for those with easels that don't take paper rolls, is that a pain or does it work okay?

What is the age range? I can't imagine why they would put a low range on it. I think the point of the adjustable board is so that teachers can use it a classroom.
The strong magnets that hold anything in place on it are the BEST! We have never missed not having a paper roll.
Before getting the one from CP we had one from IKEA with a paper roll, which we never used. So maybe I am just not a paper roll kind of person? The one from IKEA quickly fell apart. I think this one will last forever. It is very sturdy but rather heavy.

I see. We have a different one. No storage in the one I have. The one you linked to looks like fun! Would your kids leave the stored paint alone?

My dd would. My son would only if an armed guard were present 24/7...LOL

would use storage for markers, crayons, brushes

paints in vault :)
