Crib toys for 13 month old

Lately my ds has been spending extra time before and after his naps and in the mornings playing and talking in his crib. We have the FP aquarium and a mirror from when he was an infant, but I'd like to find something new for him to entertain himself with. Any suggestions?

My DS, also 13 mo, enjoys stacking, so we always put a couple nesting buckets in his crib (ours are plastic- a set of 8 or so). He seems to be able to play with them for quite a long time. We'll stick different little toys in the buckets as a surprise every couple of days.

Thank you. I was thinking of putting some of his regular toys in there, but I'm afraid he will end up sleeping on one of them and being uncomfortable. Maybe I'll give it a try anyway.
