recommendation for treehouse?

thinking of a wood treehouse playset as a grandma holiday gift for my two (3.4 and 2)...are they too young? Anyone have one they would recommend

they already have a castle, construction site, house and pirate ship so I am hard pressed to spend grandma's money...

(Grandma wants "something" to point to, not a class or college fund)

I had the same question recently.

I was about to buy a set of Maxim treehouses at Sensational Beginnings (the small one is $39.95, the deluxe one is $69.95, plus the 15% off with the code SANTA), but then I found the Battat tree house, which is much bigger.

I was wondering if anybody had some personal experience with these treehouses. I haven't decided whether to go for a set of two smaller Maxim ones or the bigger Battat one.

I wrote a reply earlier but it didn't show up for some reason. I got the Battat one for DD but we haven't put it up yet. I opened the box and the accessories are very cute and it looks well made. I'm hoping DH can find a secret place to put it up before Christmas so we can see it, otherwise we'll be busy on Christmas Eve! So I'm not too much help. DD just turned 3.

I got it from a buy now seller on e-bay for $99.99+ $26 s&h, I just looked and couldn't see any for sale at the mo. A PP said they sell it at Target, don't know if they still have it in stock but they have free shipping at the mo.
