Has anyone bought the kinderzeat you can stain yourself?

I am thinking of getting one and painting it a bright green color. We have a blue and a red chair already and I am just not liking the lime green or the purple for my son. Anyway, was it hard to stain or paint? How much work would be involved in doing a project like this? I think it is unfinished wood that you paint or stain yourself.

I've ended up with one of these - not by choice. My brother got us one as a gift and my mom, who knows why, pointed him in the direction of this one. Like I don't have enough to do with 15 month old twins... Anyhoo, the chair comes with a kit to give it an oiled finish. I've not done it yet but I think the kit is pretty all-inclusive - sand paper, oil, a cloth, perhaps a tack cloth. I was thinking of painting it and I think you could do nice job on it. I think I'm just going to oil mine one of these days and not bother painting it. Good luck!
