Hi Corie!

We bought the Orchard for Christmas and it hasn't been "played" yet-Dd just plays with the fruit and the puzzle.

I also bought Socken Zocken (sp?) but didn't give it to her yet because I don't think she'd get much out of it other than matching the socks up (and she's already got some matching games).

Ravensberger has a set called 4 first games that we just bought and it's great-the flower bed game has been a huge hit!
I think that came from Magic Cabin or Rosie Hippo and it's a great deal-4 games for $20.

What is Ravensberger? Is this another German brand of
children's games, etc.?

Also, we have been playing the Orchard and Grab Bag. My daughter
is having fun!! I really thought the Grab Bag would be too
easy but it is actually quite challenging. My daughter seems
to find the shapes faster than I do!!

I'm not sure that it's German but it's a company that specializes in puzzles...we've got a mix and match/memory bear game and it's amazing how well the heavy cardboard has held up. It's been over a ear of regular use and it looks great!

i know this is silly... but I really really want to play the Princess and the Pea game w/my niece while we are both in our PJ's..... A dream really since she lives so far away from me but it's something I want to do. That game looks so cute.

We just gave the animal game as a birthday gift last weekend. I'll post if I hear how DD's friend likes it. We also got one for DD, but may save it until her birthday in May.

I just bought my 3y/o grand daughter the Ravensberger Figurix on the recommendation of the owner of a boutique store here.She has been in business for years and always has great reccomendations. She had this game opened to demonstrate how it's played. She also reccomended Race to the Roof.

description for Figurix on the Stewart Toys website.
This game sounds like alot of fun!! My daughter has such
an eye for detail. She would give me a run for my money

Just tried to buy the Figurix game and it is sold out!!

Maybe you could just get it at one of your local store. You can play this game with only 2 of the dice at first also.

Another website that I found said that this game was being discontinued.
I wonder if that is true?
