Toysrus clearance on wooden toaster and blender sets

Had to post here asap! Just got back from Toysrus and they are clearancing out their Imaginarium wooden toaster and blender sets. Originally $19.99, on sale for 70% off, comes to $6 each!!! Amazing!

I think these were clearanced out earlier in the year. They were in the regular wooden toys section, and not in the clearance green tag section.

oh wow, I had my eye on the blender for a while and just got it a couple of days ago for $6 (75% off all green tags!) Now I'm sad they didn't have the toaster at my store! The blender is for Christmas next year (when we'll probably also be purchasing a wooden kitchen)!

Ah! I am so jealous! I went to my TRU and the blender was there but wasn't marked down. What gives?

Did you try scanning the blender? Sometimes the item is marked down, but is the sticker still indicates full price. Unlike Target, I thought TRU prices/clearances were universal and not store specific.

Same thing, I hit one yesterday and another today (and let me say I am so sick and tired of toy stores at this point) and neither one had any left. Thanks for the tip though.

Thanks so much for this info! I checked out the TRU closest to us and was able to get a blender for $6. They had at least 5-7 left, but no toasters or mixers.

Mine had a bunch of blenders, but I didn't see the toaster.

It was in the wooden toys aisle, not by the kitchens or food or the like. Also, it only had the green $19.99 sticker, with no other clearance signs around. But, it scanned at $6, so in the cart it went!

Thanks for the heads-up -- I never would have known how good the deal was!
