Ok, I had my heart set on getting a whole cleaning set (or two) for my cleaning obsessed 16 mo old little man (and 3 yr old sister) at Christmas. But couldn't find anything at Target on the 23rd. (we live in NYC without the useful box stores and I am not paying $20 for a broom)

So, now that I have time and am wondering what you all have that your kids love. Little man is a huge dust buster fan but ours is huge and heavy and he runs it daily till the batteries die. Would love to get him one of his own so I can reclaim my own!
Also they fight over the full sized broom more than just about anything else in the house. Would love to find some nice small ones.

So what recommendations do you all have? I saw one dustbuster in OSA but it talks and that seems unnecessary to me. Am I wrong?

TIA!
Betsy

This site has a cleaning supplies meant for kids, but all the stuff is real. www.forsmallhands.com

I rec'd a cordless Shark sweeper for Christmas and my kids love it. The handles can be fixed for shorter people and it picks up really well!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000070ICA/002-5971707-3407219?v=glance&n=284507

I also have a Swiffer that I removed one of the links to for my kids. Same with a Bissell sweeper (similiar to the ProSweep one in the first link).

I am big into cleaning supplies that really work. Why waste all that energy!
