My 5 month old dd is starting to sit up on her own for small amounts of time and I'm wondering if we're approaching (past?) the timeframe for using her bouncer and swing. I'm afraid she'll fall forward in her bouncer because she leans forward a lot so I don't leave the room when she's in it. I haven't noticed as much of a problem with the swing, but when should we quit using these items? We're still 10lbs from the weight limit but I know that doesn't matter.

And while we're on the subject, are excersaucers ok at this stage for 20-30 minutes? I'm in need something to replace her bouncer so I can get a shower in the morning! Right now she watches Baby Mozart in her bouncer while I shower/dress...

I stopped with the bouncer about when DS could sit up in it. 5 months I think...

The swing he enjoyed until he was at the weight limit.

The saucer he started at 3 months (when he had the head control and was tall enough). That was my shower tool after he outgrew the bouncy and until he could walk (between 9-10 months).
