Anyone use these monitors? Any opinions?

We are moving to a 2 story house soon. I have a 2 yr old and an 8 month and we will have a playroom. So needless to say there will be monitoring of some sort going on :)

This looked like a good option but wanted to get opinions.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Jana

We have one and like it. We had to take our first set back though, the volume adjustment went bad on one after a couple of months, but the replacement has lasted over 6 months now without a problem. It takes some getting used to, as it scans through all the rooms, so you get 5 sec of crying, 10 sec of silence, 5 sec of crying, etc. You can switch to monitoring one room only, but not two (it's either one or all three).

As with any monitor, it will be hit or miss on interference with your house. Ours has been crystal clear - we only had interference from our old cordless phone, but it was infrequent and went away when we replaced the phone.

BTW, if you are near a TRU that is closing, they have them marked down 20% off, but you won't be able to return it, so you may want to watch and grab one at 30 or 40% so you can e-bay it if it doesn't work for your house.

We have it and love it.

The scanning does take awhile to get used to but you can being both receivers into your room and set one to monitor one room and the other to monitor the other room. As long as you keep them on opposite ends of the room it doesn't cause interference.
