Not sure if this is the right place- but can anyone reccomend a good (not too pricey) hooded towel for a toddler? DS is 13 months and has outgrown all his baby hooded towels. Thanks.

Can you sew or know someone who sews? They are really easy to make - look in the crafts forum and there is a link to directions posted a few months ago.

I found some nice thick ones at Kohl's. They had ducks and frogs. They were on sale for about $12. They're plenty big enough for my 21 month old. They'll last a while, too.

I have the dog Bath Wrap from PBK, it is $29 (pricey) but it is soft, thick and fun. Luca loves it.

BATH WRAPS

Bundle up after bath time with cozy wraps shaped like kids’ favorite animals. They’re woven of thick cotton terry. Personalization is available for $6 more. Machine wash. Imported. Ages 18 months and up. Choose from Lion, Frog, Cat, Dog, Dinosaur, Duck, Butterfly, Ladybug or Turtle. 54 x 27".

We got the frog from lands end and it has help up really well and it is pretty cute. I don't remember how much it was but I do remember that it was less than the PBK towel

I got the same duck and frog ones from Kohl's and both my daughter and I love them. They are nice and thick and wrap around nicely.
I got lucky and bought them at Christmas time with a coupon and they came out to something like $7 a piece. I would still buy them at $12 if I needed more.

We bought a few from Kohl's the day after Thanksgiving for around $7 each and I think you can get them on sale for around $12 sometimes. They are plenty big and very absorbant. We have cows and monkeys.

Are these cute towels in the kids' section or in the bath section of Kohls?

TIA

I had found them in the bath section. I hope your Kohl's still has some.

I just purchased the cat, duck and the puppy at my Kohls last week. They were on sale for 14.99 (reg 28.00). They were displayed on an end rack in the bath department. I really like them. They are very soft and thick!
