What are the best ones and how do you store them?
I have the sassy frog net that suctions to the wall and it is pretty useless. My DS is 1.
Thanks

We store our bath toys in regular bath assessories that I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond. We have a rack that goes across the bath tub that we can put toys in to drain (we keep it at the end of the tub). I also have a wire basket that suctions to the wall also from BB&B to hold more bath toys. Both work great. The one that suctions to the wall has not fallen down in over 2 years (I have taken it off the wall to clean behind it).

DS likes the foam letters/numbers in the tub (although they drive me batty). DS loves a set of plastic measuring cups -- they are great for pouring water into a bucket another other containers. He likes empty bottles also. We got DS a floating Zylophone and he really likes it. There is also a floating drum I'm thinking of getting him.

I hope this information helps!

Kaya likes the Alex foam letters that stick to the wall. She also likes the squirty fish (from Kidsurplus) set I got for her. But her absolute favorite bath toys are containers. She loves her triangular stacking cups (also from Kidsurplus) that have Baby Einstein pictures on them. She's played with those for forever. And she recently discovered (well, I did, actually), the silicone condiment bowls from Crate and Barrel. I fill them with baking soda (which I use in every bath for her) and she loves playing with it. She calls it "soap". :)

She also loves spray bottles, which she has used since around 14-15 months. Those are great in the bathtub because there's less mess. ;)

Oppenhiem has a list of bath toys that they recommend. We have the car wash (sassy) and the kitchen (also sassy) they are great -- DS is just begining to play with parts of it (warning they are largish -- about the size of a shoe box) but seems like it will last a LONG time.

Another vote for the foam letters. Julia loves these. Also, stacking cups are also a big hit at the moment. We got ours at kidsurplus as well.

We have one of those bath toy bags as well with the suctions, but we have a towel rod over the tub so we just tied it on that. You would think that they can make something that actually works.

I usually get our bath toys from the pool/sand toy collection at Target. I noticed they already have them in stock last time I was there. They are cheap and replaceable each year (about when they get too yucky to be cleaned!). The watering can is the favorite.

My DS loves cups in there too, but will drink the bath water from them. Any hints on how to stop him from doing that ?? (He'll be two in april. also still eats dirt, leaves, sticks, drinks puddles like a dog, etc.)

I also agree with everyone that the foam letters and numbers are a hit !

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went to target and got a foam puzzle from the $1 spot and a watering can and shovel from the beach section. I found a basket online and ordered it so well see how it works out but it looks like a great storage idea. I will post a review.
