I'm looking for something small, but well made. I like the Little Tikes set in Mission Design, but they are hard to find. Any other idea's?

Thanks!

I am planning to get the PBK Carolina & chairs for my kids' playroom, but I have seen an Avalon table (Kidkraft) that I also really like. It's small, but attractive, and has a drawer, which would be nice for storing things. Here's a picture.

I highly recommend www.myroomdesigns.com. She uses high quality materials and hand paints some fabulous designs on them. She'll even customize if you want.

What is the quality of the table & chairs like? Are the chairs pretty heavy and somewhat hard to tip over?

I appreciate Renee's recommendation. :)

I would also recommend the company that I now use to supply unfinished furniture - Little Colorado. They sell their table/chair sets in a variety of basic finish colors, and I've found the quality to be quite good - much better than IKEA. I think their table and open back chair sets are very good quality for the price, especially compared to things like Pottery Barn Kids. My web site doesn't reflect the change to LC products yet (and I don't sell the sets unembellished, which is why I think it's OK for me to make the recommendation - you'd have to buy directly from the company or from one of their retailers), but here's what the plain sets look like:

And the page where you can see prices, measurements, etc is http://www.littlecolorado.com/stock44.html
