Hey ladies. My 2 y/o dd has finally decided she likes bath time but now we are ending up with soaking wet floors everytime. She likes to pour water between containers and seeing as how the only place to set them while being poured into is the outer edge of the tub, every miss and overflow contributes to a lake on the floor. So I was wondering if there's something that could make a table of some sort for her across the tub? It seems like I've seen something like this before but I have no ideas where and I don't remember if it was for kids or the elderly. :) I'm open to whatever, so feel free to toss out any ideas that will help keep water IN the tub. TIA!

I'm pretty sure that places like Bed Bath and Beyond or Linen's n things has a bath caddy that lays across the tub for books, soap, etc. when you are taking a 'relaxing' bath.

Here's a link to one I found:

Is that what you're looking for? Also, how about getting some of those suction containers they advertise for organizing your soaps and shampoos? She could just pour straight into those-stuck to the wall, of course, away from the side of the tub and floor! :)
Doesn't even have to be fancy-We got a cheap-o suction shower mirror for DS and he loves it!

HTH!

If she's still an unrepentant splasher, you might want to pick up one of these too:

We got one at Target, it's made out of plastic coated wire, and it goes across the tub. It was in the aisle with other bathroom organizing things. We got it for the exact same reason! It's nice to let the toys air dry in too!

Thanks everyone! At least I know I'm not completely crazy. I'll definitely have to look at Target and then OSA if I can't find anything there. Thanks so much!

What a great idea! We are constantly wiping up the water to try and keep the water to a minimum -- amazing what you don't think of! [:)]
