Is there such a thing as a swing that you can plug in? I've only seen ones online so far that run on battery power only. We just got home from the hospital yesterday. While we were there we discovered that DD loves the swing. We need to buy one TODAY!

Thanks for any help!

If someone knows of one, I'd love that info.!! I think the swing companies are in cahoots (sp?) with battery companies. I have never bought so many batteries in my life!
Sorry I don't really have an answer for you!

I would love to find one too. My suggestion, and what has worked for us, is to buy two sets of rechargable batteries and a battery charger. They don't last as long, but boy will you save money in the long run. Just always have one set charging while you use the other set. Both my girls practically lived in the swing. In fact the motor on ours just burned out last week and I'm debating whether or not to buy a new one (dd is 5 mo.) Good luck!

Ive never seen one but when Nathan was an infant I replaced the 4 D batteries about ever 3-4 weeks and we used it ALL THE TIME.

Wow! How did you manage that. We replaced ours every 3 to 4 days, but we used it at night.

I believe Fisher Price just came out with one! Check their website!

We didn't/don't use our swing all the time, but we just replaced batteries for the first time - DD is 3 months old and we did use the swing for another baby as well! So it hasn't been too bad for us, but if you think you'll use it a LOT I'd go for rechargeables, like PP suggested. Congratulations on the new baby, BTW!
