DS' former OT (he just started special ed preschool so she doesn't come anymore)) used to bring a game he liked. He asked for it again yesterday and I thought I'd see if I can buy it for him. (I can ask the OT, but thought I'd bug you guys first.)

It is a small (maybe 6 inches by 6 inches or so) clear plastic grid with pegs of various shapes and colors (the pegs may be wooden). It comes with cards that go under the grid and have different patterns--the idea being to match the pattern with the pegs, although DS never did that.

I have no idea what this is called and my search attempts have been futile.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Sounds like something you might find in an OT catalogue. There is one that is very good called ***I think*** Pocket Full of Therapy??? I think they might have a website. They have lots of neat games/toys.

Wow, the Mini Pegs Activity Set on the first link is REALLY close. I'll have to think about whether he'll be happy with that or if I should bug his old OT. I can't believe you found something so close based on my lame description.

Thanks so much!

Aargh! I know EXACTLY what you're talking about! My DD used one of those pegboards in OT, as well. I can picture it, but I can't for the life of me find something that looks quite like it as I search around the web...and the sites that I know of for OT products don't have it, either.

I'd call the OT. I can't imagine she would mind at all, and if your DS is like my kids, it has to be exactly the same thing or he won't feel quite right about it.

Let us know if you find it (because otherwise I'm going to drive myself crazy wondering what it's called ;) )
