I took DS's Fisher Price Ocean Wonders seat to the sitter's with him for a few days, where it got flattened by the two other toddlers in my DCP's care. When we put him in it, he's almost totally horizontal. He loves being more upright - is there any way to un-flatten the bouncer without damaging it further, or should I just consider it done for and go get a new one?

I assume you mean the frame is bent. In that case, I would just go get a new one. You might be able to bend it back into shape, but I remember a post long ago (I think it was on this board) by someone whose FP bouncy seat frame snapped (without any "abuse" even). I think the bouncy seats are quite safe, but I personally wouldn't trust one that had been bent out of shape and then re-bent, kwim?

If you bought it recently, you might contact FP though. They *might* replace it for you.

Good luck!

The same thing happened to mine when I loaned it to my sister and she allowed her older kids to sit in it. I just pulled it back to the upright position. I've been using the seat for 4 months now and have had no other problems. I would try to fix it. If it snaps, then at least you tried. Just remove the cover and make sure there are no weaknesses in the frame before you use it. Good luck
