wooden barn/farm set?

Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase a wooden barn w/ or w/out animals. I know that Melissa & Doug make one, but I'm wondering if there are any other (better?) ones out there? I'm trying not to fill my house with plastic toys for environmental reasons, that's why I'm going with wood.

How about realistic-looking animals? I suspect these would be plastic, but if I can find wood or other materials, that would be great.

Schleich makes realistic looking plastic animals. I've seen them at AC Moore and I think Target just started carrying them too. Also seen other brands at TRU and Marshalls/TJ Maxx.
