Update: After reading the responses we decided to give it a try. DD loved it. She even took it by the handle and carried it next door to show the neighbors. And for once we had lots of bubbles without me hyperventilating -- everybody wins!

I saw one of these today at Target marked down from 9.99 to 8.88 -- got to love those all the same number prices. I picked it up on a whim, but was wondering if it really works.

Here's a link to the online item (same thing, just more expensive):

DD loves bubbles, but can't blow them for herself yet, and wants so many of them that poor pregnant mommy winds up getting really out of breath. If this works, I thought it would be fun for her to be in control of making the bubbles instead of even just chasing them from one of those automatic bubbler machines.

Any thoughts?

DS has this one and he LOVES it! The only thing is the handle needs to go ALL THE WAY back up to vertical to "recharge" and then he can pull it back down to blow more bubbles again. It's a concept I think he's finally grasping. :)

We have a Nemo bubble blower and kids love it! It's a bit noisy, but it's fun.

Thanks for the tip! We tried it today and that was one of the first things I showed DD. She got the hang of it, but still preferred watching somebody else push the handle down to make the bubbles.
