I haven't looked too much, but knew you all would quickly send me in the right direction. TIA! DS is always drawm to these at other peoples houses, so I'm ISO one for him.

IKEA has a set that's under $8. It is plain white china, nothing fancy though. But I do love looking at them whenever I go to IKEA and wishing that I had a girl. LOL.

I am sure the other moms will be able to give you more/better ideas. But HTH.

ETA: it's not that I wouldn't buy the set for my kids b/c they are boys. I have a whole kitchen setup in our family room and they only play with it occasionally. And often they throw the food at each other... so a play china set is just not a good idea for my house...

That's exactly what I was looking for. Too bad the closest IKEA to me is a 6 hour drive away. I would love to have their mammut plastic table and chair set too. I guess I'll have to make a trip there sometime. Hopefully they still have it then.

Hey, Alyssa, you are welcome. I have seen the same tea set around IKEA forever. Before G was born. So I would venture to guess that they will be around for a long time.

I would have offered to buy and ship for you if they WERE not china. ykwim. lol. Good thing you are looking at their furniture too so the 6-hour drive is somewhat more worth it. Still, 6 hours. I feel your pain!

Oh, that's exactly what we need! Kaya has a nice cloth one from Lillian Vernon that she really enjoys playing with, but for the porch this summer, this would be wonderful. We'll have to make it out there sometime...
