So now that we've mastered the Kettler on flat surfaces and now going up hill, how do you teach them to brake??
You take your hand off to grab the brake handle and you swerve in the other direction. Trying to teach him to jam his feet down fast or to try and "go backwards fast" to brake has resulted in nothing.
Currently he puts his feet down flat to brake which is not good as he does it barefoot on the cement driveway. Can you say, "ouch"! x(
I'm betting that we just do nothing and wait until he figures it out.
