handcrafted baby announcements?

hi all, don't know where to post this!

i'd like to make baby announcements for a friend. are there are books or websites out there that have samples or instructions on how to do so? i'd like it to look "scrapbooky" and leave an empty spot so all she can do is stick a picture in.
