Does anyone have a feeling for how dangerous these are? My daughter thinks she is "Queen of the Trampoline" like Olivia. She's 2 and very coordinated and loves these things. I'd love to get her one, but not if they are very dangerous...

I seriously thought about getting one of these for the same reason as you, but I finally decided against it when I pictured her jumping too high or just with enough inattention to fall and hit the bar itself. I totally trust her careful sense, and will let her climb our 7 foot cat tree and all that, but I think the whole jumping this is just a little too unpredictable, KWIM? Even if she had her hands on the bar the whole time, I'd be worried that she'd jump at a funny angle at one point or another, causing her to lose her balance.

ETA: Our yoga instructor's son (3 years old) was jumping on a normal trampoline and he landed just in a funny way that he actually snapped his leg bone. Fortunately, he broke it about half an inch AWAY from the growth plate so he really was lucky. But it wasn't even that he was being unsafe or that he fell. He just landed in a funny way and fractured his leg.

Sue - don't know if you'll see this since it's been awhile, but we have a very similar one that I got from Target last Christmas for bout $45. The kids LOVE it and so do all the other kids who come over. It doesn't seem to be dangerous and the kids know what to do. They never jump without holding on. We love ours.

I agree! DS got one for his birthday in October and he LOVES it as do his friends.

We have one and it's been very safe for DD, she is pretty cautious though so I don't know if that makes a difference.
ETA: My nephew has had one for ages and it's been great and safe and he's a wild one!
