I am looking for wooden cars that a 1 yo/toddler will be able to push around on the floor. I have seen so many places that have them but, where are your favorite places to buy them?

ETA: I am looking for reasonable prices too..they will probably be outside and beat up eventually.

TIA!!!

big ones or small ones ? I found some great bigger ones - although it was a train and a dump truck - at Tuesday morning.

If you mean the smaller ones, I don't know. sorry .

A few of both. I will check out Tuesday morning though. Thanks for the tip. I can't buy anything without at least consulting with the boards! :)

sure ! and, I hear you about checking with the boards !!

for what its worth, both my two year old and my four year old have loved the dump truck thing for months. it may say 18 months or over, but it seemed ok for DS2 when he was younger.

We have little ones - great for travel, diaper bag, perfect size for little hands. Think the brand is Bajo and I know I got them on Oompa.com.

Best,
Mary

I know that many people here have found small cars made by Heros at Tuesday Morning as well. I have some Bajo cars (that Mary mentioned already.) I bought them at Oompa.com, here is a link:

I also have these that I *think* are made by Spiel & Holz:

Also, I have never bought from them, but www.atoygarden.com seems to have pretty good prices on their items, and they always get good reviews here. Here are some of their cars and trucks:

Good luck, and have fun!!

I bought two cars from www.willowtoys.com. We have a kitchen and fridge from them, and have been very happy. I haven't given the cars to Lachlann yet as his birthday is a month and a half away, but they look very nice in person. They seem sturdy.

We got some medium sized ones from IKEA. They have rubber wheels so they don't scratch anything. Sarah started playing with them at about the time she turned one and still enjoys them.
