Right now we have the Step Two Adobe Playhouse in our backyard along with the Step Two sandbox, Kettler trike, and other outside toys. When we move to Charlottesville, VA in the winter we will be moving to an apartment with no yard. We will have a patio, but I don't think it's that big. I want to take all of Conner's outside toys with us, but don't know where to put it all. Does anyone have an outdoor playhouse indoors? Conner's room will be pretty big and I'll be keeping him in his toddler bed which means lots of floor space. I'm thinking of putting the playhouse in his room and just putting the sandbox on the patio which should leave room for two chairs and a small table hopefully. Here's the playhouse we have:

I don't think there is anything wrong with putting a playhouse inside. We have a step 2 climber in our living room and a zillion other big toys in our basement. I bet Connor would this it is fun to have a clubhouse in his bedroom!

We have our playhouse in the living room - still. DD got it as a Christmas gift from my parents and we intended to put it outside as soon as the weather got warmer. Now if we can ever be decisive about where in the yard it should go it might get there... :D

I have to be honest though and say that I *almost* prefer having it indoors, because it's such a great thing to occupy DD on a rainy day. The only reason I'm starting to get desperate to move it outside is because it's in front of one of my living room windows, so I can't get to it to open it.

If you have the room it will be fine indoors!

Love the picture, I have never seen a house like that! I would totally have one inside if it has never been outside. If it has been outside you may have a problem with water being inside it. I wouldn't put it inside if it does(mold issues). The other thing is the move may be harder on it than you think. We have had things warp from heat and how they were packed in the trucks.

We don't (we don't have a playhouse), but Kaya's BF does and it works just fine. She gets a lot more playtime out of it than if it were outdoors, so as long as you can figure out the room for it, I think it would be just fine. :)

Thanks everyone! I think I might actually like it indoors better. Right now, every time Conner goes outside I have to go out with the broom and sweep all of the spider webs off of it and check for spiders inside as well. Won't have to do that if it's inside his room ;).
